LEGO: Daddy's |
Here are some of the items I have created. There is an incredible following for LEGO online and I receive a lot of my inspiration from other peoples work. Take a look, and as I get time to create more (my idea list is pretty big) I will keep adding to this page. |
| | I've always been a big fan of Batman. Combine that with LEGO and you've got an irresistible combination! This "Mini-Figure" takes most of it's inspiration from the official Mini-Figure as well as LEGO's Mini-Figure sculpture 3723-1 Mini-Figure set. A very special thanks goes to my wife for making his cape. | |
| | Working for a GIS (Geographic Information System) company I thought creating a Globe out of LEGO was something that just had to be done. Although this is not an exact duplicate, it is based heavily on this model that I found on Brickshelf. | |
| | My wife is very allergic to perfumes and most strong scents so normal flowers are out. This year for Valentines Day I decided to try something different. I think it turned out pretty well and my wife really liked it. I guess there's a reason she's with a geek! | |
| | This is obviously not one of my creations. However, being that this was the biggest set LEGO has created yet I thought it would be cool to have a video of it going together. | |
| | When LEGO came to the Toronto CNE to build the world's tallest LEGO tower, Angel and I just had to participate. We got there early to make sure we could do something special. We decided to put Angel's name right near the base of the tower. The final tower was 29.3 metres (96.12 feet). What a blast, thanks LEGO! | |
| | I've been interested in doing a mosaic for a while so I thought I would start off with something easy. Here is my representation of the LEGO official logo. It's 70x70 studs or about 22inches square. | |
| | A while ago I stumbled across a video of something called the Great Ball Contraption. The idea was to allow people to create a bunch of individual modules and link them together to create huge machines. I've always been fixated by Rube Goldberg type machines, so I started fiddling with one myself. Because I wasn't planning to hook to anyone else's machine I didn't really follow the rules but instead just tried to fill my desk. :) | |
| | LEGO being a square object makes it obviously difficult to make some thing that isn't square. Here are a few of my attempts at making spherical objects. Can you tell that one's suppose to be a Globe? | |
